We spend so much time preventing lasers getting into our eyes, and now we want to mount lasers on them. :tinfoil:

Could be interesting though. May lead to other uses.

Interesting. According to the article, you'll have to pump the device to get it to lase. It's not like they're installing a laser device with its own power source and optics that can be turned on at will or be used for presentations and playing with cats.

No not quite like a presentation laser, but still interesting nonetheless.
