Nice beamshots Mr Yagyuu. I like that you have managed to capture 405nm. 405nm is a difficult wavelength to photograph. Well done.

Thank you. :yh:. First time Upload is difficult. hehe
Someday. i hope get a worthy laser

520nm is better than 532nm :lasergun:

I personally do like 532nm but I haven't yet seen a 520nm in person. So I won't make my mind up. Are you hoping to get a more powerful 520nm?

Yes. sure! i want pen type 520nm laser. Not the purpose of the burning. just bright beam and worthy.

The 520nm is good for walking to the danger mountain. hehe

I just looked at Sanwu and they have a single mode (good beam quality) 50mw in pen type. If you look at the guardian series they offer a short but wide styled laser but with 1W+ 520nm.

i want laser66 build pen type :yh:. It is very clean and good.
someday.. I challenge for 635nm sanwulaser limited edition 0.9W

Fog is an excellent tool to a laserist, it really brings out the beam.

I agree, nice 405nm pics.
I tell people the way to spot a 532nm over a 520 or 515nm is 532nm looks like it has a bit of yellow in it. If you keep that in mind you don't have to have them side by side to know the wavelength.

i love 405nm color. but 1 have problem. dim...... it does not matter.
low lifetime. low duty time... It's only drawback.

so i just choice bright red 635nm or 520nm. :)

405 is dim because it is at the edge of our visible range. Also you will notice you can not focus on the spot at a distance. This the limitation of own own eyes.

yeah.. 405nm is very dim.

1W 405nm : 532nm 10~20mw ? maybe......

i just wait a few years. if i have real output 5W 405nm. so happy:p

but no over 1.3W 405nm now. :(

just wait :D

There isn't any demand for higher powered 405's so unlikely to see anything much more than what we have today. I find 405 quite bright, but only with UV interference.
