Sanwu 304 3000mW 445nm Laser

I was looking at buying this laser.

I was wondering if it can use 18350 batteries? It says for all the 3 models 16340 or 18350 but in the 3W description it says two 16340.

I tried contacting Sanwu but didn't receive a reply.

I know those 301. 303, 304 style hosts fit 1 "18650". They have a extention tube that you can remove to fit 1 "16340". Most likely a "18350" would fit then as the 18650 width is the same.
I'm talking about the cheaper low power 532nm, 405nm amd 650nm units. Whether Sanwu modded the insides to make a 3W unit, I don't know??

The first two numbers tell you the battery diameter and the last three tell you the battery length.

18350 is 18mm wide and 35.0mm long
16340 is 16mm wide and 34.0mm long

Be aware that some cells are flat top and some are button top and button tops often include a protection circuit that adds a mm or two, also some makers are slightly out of spec.

I recommend buying good quality cells, avoid the cheap cells and use high quality high drain cells for high drain devices.
