Best goggles are certified goggles.

What color is your laser?

Make sure you buy goggles that are meant for your specific wavelength

How strong is your purple laser? If its under ~100mw you might get away with non certified ones. BUT I strongly advise against it

When you say purple...

Do you mean the Blu-Ray diode kind? (405nm?)

They were tested here on the forums and found to be pretty good, but DO get properly certified ones. There is no price on your vision.
