Safety Goggles Question

I checked the search and didn't find much on this website but I just bought these safety goggles from lightobject.com through amazon and now I am questioning whether they are legitimate due to what people are saying here about cheap knockoffs.

808nm 940nm 1064nm Infrared Laser Eyes Protection Glasses/Goggle

That's the pair that I bought. Did I just waste a buncha money? It cost 54 bucks with shipping =(. Im trying to block 808nm. Thanks.

Also if there is an easy way to test it when it comes in the mail that would be nice to know as well thanks.

I could REALLY use anybody's input on this. I don't wanna blind myself. I have been searching all over the forums for these goggles but have not seen any reviews or tests of them. Does anybody have any information on this company or whether or not their glasses are good or can be tested without a LPM? I am sorry if im asking a stupid question but I would rather ask a stupid question than burn out my retinas.

If you want to check, you could send a pair to an LPF forum member with a laser power meter and ask them to test the goggles.
 
They ended up being eagle pair goggles that look similar to the ones that you posted a picture of. They say 190-40&800-2000nm OD4+ CE on the glasses. Are these legit or could they be bad?
 
They COULD be bad, but they seem legit... I think most people on this board think Eagle Pair is ok.

If i use a camera to show the dot of an 808nm laser and put the glasses over it and the dot is much dimmer or nonexistent on the camera through the goggles does that mean that they work well? I can't tell with IR. When I talk about the dot I mean the tiny red dot that you can already only barely see.
 
The problem with these is the company has basically horrible customer service and I can't return these so I need to find out if they work. Do college science labs have LPM's?
