Safe Current to run PS3 Laser?

Hi to anyone who bothered to read this thread. I'm getting a PS3 Optical Pickup (or sled, whichever's more appropriate) and it's coming right now. I just wanted to know what the highest and safest current to run the diodes at, cause i don't want to go too low (yes i know, these are like 5-7 mW). Does anyone know a good current?
