After looking into the kitteh video a little more, apparently they both passed on. With Goats, it's not as dramatic I guess. I can only suspect it has to do with being in their DNA for how many generations but it's MUCH more rare in other animals like cats. My assumption would be that because it's not fully weeded itself out of the DNA pool for cats, it's probably more fatal than a different species that's survived with it for generations.
Long and short - it's more fatal to kittens than goats, and both of the cats did pass on shortly after the video was made. (1 of respiratory failure and the other one, I'm not sure)
