That's impressive, but I think it will be awhile before one is in the range where one of us could use it to produce a few mW of yellow. It could be great for research purposes, though.

The 1120nm version with 5W is allteady available. This wl region was presented by the FBH earlier this year.

So it won't be to long. But they sell the bare chips on a mount, not the nice integrated packages they show in publications. For them you have to wait 5 years or maybe the won't show up ever....
