is it possible or has any1 mounted a 650nm laser diode in a leadlight? is it harder to do than putting it in a flashlight?

I guess it could work if you had a broken leadlight (or working one if you want to waste money 
), I'm not sure the driver board would be suited for the red diode though... I think the main reason of using flashlights is the price and space in it to work easily, also heard that some driver boards of flashlights could be used with some diodes.

I've built several reds into old leadlights. The driver won't work -- Wrong polarity. The Aixiz module can be made to fit.
