Hey everyone.
So I am working on my boxy 445nm, and I need to figure out a way to not have to remove the batteries (two 18650s) in order to recharge, because just changing batteries is kind of obnoxious.
Is there a way that I could just take my home-made battery pack and just plug it into a single 18650 charger and get twice the charge time? The idea is that the charger is a smart charger, so it wouldn't damage them, but it is only built for a single 18650. It lets of 4.2V at 650mA, which is great for charging one... but is it safe to charge two 18650s in series?
I know I could charge them in parallel easily, but then the question is, how do I charge in parallel and then switch it to a series to run off of?
Questions, questions, questions... anyway, help please!
(The reason for this is so I can just completely close off my battery pack because the front end keeps on falling off.)
