Rechargeable battery vs non-rechargeable

So i got my laser a few days a go with a cr2 3.0v lithium battery but!! It only last for 3 days ?.!.! Im like wth?!! The battery is probably OLD!.... So what im looking for is for a battery that can last a long time and give it all till death....
(when i mean long time i mean more that 3 days!! Plzz lol at least some weeks ?! Or so ) ty

Cheap 16340 + Charger = Dealextreme

3 days doing what?

If its empty after 3 days of not turning the laser on something is wrong, but you'll usually run for less than an hour on such a cell with a 200 mW green, perhaps you can run a ~200 mW red for 3 hours straight.

O wow lol !... Hahaha .... I didnt know that cr2 batteryes waste that fast ?!! Damm ... Anyway i think i will go for the rechargeable (; .... I dont want to buy batteryes every 3 days lol ...( btw the laser is turning on ... But its not as powerful as the first time ... Now i cant even cut electrical tape !!) anyway thanks !!
