Really 80mw? - Wanting to buy a laser module

I want to buy this module to use with a laser pen-shaped housing, yes i know i would have a high power cycle with such a powerful diode, but what i really want to know is if i should trust on those aliexpress sellers, the last thing i want is pay ~$20 and receive a weak 5mw diode.

I can't speak anything good or bad for that company, but I know that this company gets a good reputation on the forum:

LA 405nm 445nm 50-80

OK, it's not green but 405nm 80mW violet for $ 36.90


If you're planning on burning things, I know there's some disagreement on the forum as to whether 80mW is enough power to work OK.

OP: you can likely expect anywhere between 40mW and 100mW with that laser module. I have a few I should probably check hanging out right now, but in general they tend to fluctuate between individual units wildly.

One could buy one of those 303 green laser off ebay for 12$ and pull the module out of that
