Hi there,

Say I happen to skimp on cost and neglect EagleEye computer interface versions of Jerrys loggers (is that a bad decision by itself?)

Could I do up my own data log by filming the display over time and doing up an excel sheet for the ultimate cheapo W/cm2 graph?

Of course this would only be for myself but would it pass as being a legitimate thing? As manual as it is?

Your inputs on those two questions would be helpful for poor me, thanks.

Of course you can do it the old fashioned way, but it makes sense to get data logging as it will be more accurate and frankly a lot easier.

If you don't have the EagleEye feature or any other
Laser Power data logging with your LPM then... sure
you can take down readings from a video of the LPM
screen....
Just seems like a lot of work.. but it could be done.

DTR has made a practice of doing this with new diodes he offers for sale. It is not a new concept.

Cool.
To save myself the trouble, I just got a Hyperion 20W with uncoated and datalogging.
