There probably decent, but for the price you could of almost gotten 2 of these... http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.469 , which can even pop baloons. Altho the one you got would be a good introduction to green lasers ;D

Yep cant complain on gifts, you will be amazed at that laser, is it the x-150 from nova lasers? Wait till the first dark night outside, it will be the brightest most visible beam you will have ever seen. Not to mention all the baloons or matches you can light or pop with it ;D

I have one that looks precisely like that from ebay. I was listed as 5mW and gave 8. It was phenomenal until moisture got behind the lens. The dot is now... not a dot.

Ahhhh, looks to me as if the person who ot you the gift was ripped. you see that a lot with people who are buying stuff they arent 100% familiar with... Deal Extreme sells the same one for like 18 bucks shipped-its not a GREAT laser but its probably the same quality one you got

Anyways, focusing too much on the past doesnt accomplish much/ The CNI's are excellent lasers and work wonders. They are also pretty cheap for their output power and generally the best deals are CNI's. I personally like them (Although mine is acting up again.....)


Winter isnt the best laser month-so truly i cant wait for the humid days of summer )
