We have a Cyonics 40 Mw Multi Line Argon Laser, Model# 2201-40MLA. We have the laser unit but the power supply is missing! I don’t know if the laser is functional and cannot test it without a power supply. I know, it’s a Long Shot, but does anybody have a surplus power supply for this unit? or any ideas on how I can test the laser. Any ideas on any other compatible power supplies.

I think this is the PSU you need. I don't see any on ebay. It looks similar to an Omnichrome PSU.

Thanks, I am having a tough time finding that power supply or something similar. Funny part is my Boss will let me buy a powersupply, but I dont even know if the laser we have is functional or not! I'd figured if it was cheap on e-bay, i would buy it out of my personal funds and test the laser.

here's another picture of a power supply for that laser. I have the same model and this was the power supply that was matched with it from the factory

EDIT: If you want to know if the laser works before sending it out, I could test it for you on my power supply so you dont end up spending money on a head that doesn't work.

Thanks for offering to test the laser. Unfortunately I am in a University and my Boss wont let me send the laser out, would it be possible for you to lend us your power supply for the testing it?
