Hi all,
I was looking for a >100mW laser that was in the range of 70-140$.
It seems to me that only Rayfoss lasers meet my criteria.

I'm wondering if they have IR filter on their lasers or not, since I can't find it in their specs table.

Thanks ;)

rayfos may good, but better if you buy directly from one of their supplier/manufacturer
here is email from Shenzhen Keyuan CO.,LTD. to me

pricelist for 532nm's

532nm 50 (glued crystal) $51
532nm 50 (separate crystal) $73
532nm 100(glued crystal) $61
532nm 100 (separate crystal) $111
532nm 150 $121
532nm 200 $142

AFAIK this 532nm is IR filtered, you can ask their customer services

What's the benefit of separate crystal over glued? Are they referring to the focusing lens? Are these prices for a module or complete laser?

Thanks for the information!

Yes I'd like to know that too :)

I've just got email from Faona. The lasers I was interested were

RF532-200mW-QMT
RF532-150mw-FWT
RF532-200mW-B03

and they don't have an IR filter. This is what she said:

"They are not IR installed if you need we could send IR lens alone with the order to you for testing purpose. Due to to install the IR lens inside the beam dot will not looked so neat per our engineer experience."

That means that I have to look for another seller who has 532nm IR filtered lasers :(

that price is for a complete laser (IR filtered, i guess.. contact their customer service to know it)

separate crystals has a better heat dissipation, AFAIK thus provide a higher output power.
check this out: Shenzhen Keyuan CO.,LTD.

as you can see that 100mW glued crystals have a output range 100-110mW while separate crystals can do 100-130mW

many of manufacturer/trade/reseller company out there don't tell us about what crystals set they uses. usually, a glued/bonded crystals is used.

IR filtered lasers are usually more expensive than non IR filtered one.
for example, if you buy RF532-200mW-QMT (assuming the actual output 200mW) then you install IR filter within it, you'll probably get a 50-180mW depends on the quality of the cavity/crystals. if the 200mW output has an IR leakage, maybe you'll get an actual output (after IR filter) about 50mW

so that, buying a 50mW IR filtered means that you buy a 200mW non IR filtered lasers

Actually I got another price list from them.

532nm 100 EUR 190
532nm 200 EUR 380

and that is way over my budget

maybe you wrong, it seems that it was a price for portable laser.

handheld laser was cheaper
