The backside of the aixiz seems to fit around the pins so well you'd almost think they built it for that purpose.

My meredith modules are the same..I can use the backside to push the diode into the housing. But I have the really small Aizix modules, so a small nut driver or something is needed to push the diode in, and the diode is recessed into the housing on that particular module.

Accually, if you read the post, I used a socket(nut)

I dont have a nut socket that small...

Ive been using a really small screwdriver, and slowly tapping it in, but now one side is a little bit more in than the other, and i cant get it in.

Did you post the above...? You eventually got it in using a nut, but you did start out by tapping on it :
