the 3 pin diode from the KES-410A is a red diode. some people already tried them a while ago. however there is speculation that the 4 pin diode is IR/Bluray but this theory has yet to be proven.iewed said:

Liberty1992 said:idk if i would feel comfortable buying from ebay first of all, they may not even be blu-ray. second of all because if they arent working it could be because the diodes are dead

are they going to stop selling sleds too as part of their laser ban?
ah ok, has anyone ever tried to make a pointer out a barcode reader? is it even possible?pseudolobster said:are they going to stop selling sleds too as part of their laser ban?
no. otherwise they'd also have to ban dvd players, cd players, laser printers, laser mice, laser gun sights, laser levels, supermarket checkout scanners, other barcode readers, and thousands of other products that involve lasers.
What's illegal some places is laser pointers, specifically a handheld pointing device. Other products which use lasers, as well as the parts of those products, are unaffected by laser bans.
Well that's expensive compared to the sleds... Might as well get a PHR-803T for cheaper.kristopher said:Back to the original post, these are PS3 I believe:
