The unprotected cells should be a tad higher than the protected cells.
I like the protected cells for safety reasons.

I got mine today, and I don't like the length...

So I would like to remove my offer to buy your batteries.

They do fit the 3405, but barely. I bought 6 batteries, but I only have one 3405 build using 3 X 10440's.

So if anybody wants 3 of these 10440 protected. I have three brand new ones that I will sell for $10 dollars shipped...

Yeah, I hear you. If you trim the springs inside of the holder they fit decently. Had I not ordered a couple more pairs, I'd take them off of you.

If I had a use for them i'd snatch them in a hot second JR.
Now if they were protected 123 or 18650's................:san:
