Project of the week, testing YaBB 2.2.3 for LPF

hello everyone,

this week i will be spending a lot of time testing out the new YaBB 2.2.3 software to see if i can upgrade the forum. for more information about yabb see http://yabbforum.com

depending on how it goes, i may upgrade LPF

He has "ADMIN" under his name. that negates the need for an avvy. Always.

i have test yabb 2.2.3 with LPF and it was a success. i am considering doing the upgrade, but we would not be able to keep the dark_shadows layout

the default layout for the site would look very similar too:
http://www.yabbforum.com/community/

with time i would be able to add more new layouts though

please let me know what you think of this default layout

I just posted this in another thread, but I like that new layout. I'm sure there would be a template that looks like dark_shadows that would go along with the new layout if you decide to upgrade LPF.

hey, i was experimenting more with the 2.2.3 upgrade last night and it went well mostly. there are still a few more issues to resolve, however.

i will keep you all posted
