The problem with hydrogen filled Zeppelins was the Germans didn't have access to He and it only took a spark to ignite the hydrogen in in the presence of oxygen. Funny story.... the Baroness Von Zeppelin was happy that Jimmy Page had decided to use it as his band's name until she saw the cover photo of their first album.
