their all pretty good bands though if you like the music. i mostly listen to White Chapel, WBTBWB , August Burns Red, As Blood Runs Black, Waking The Cadaver, Parkway Drive, Emmure, or Carnifex

Well, since this doesn't indicate it must be a current band or one that gets air play..

When I formed my first adult band in St. Louis, we had practice on Friday nights in my basement studio, and we also made a party of it. We quickly learned how alcohol affected our timing. In the meantime, we started thinking of our first gigs, but we couldn't think of a name we liked. One night my lead guitarist asked why I had a large jug instead of my highball glass. I said, "I decided to practice with just water".

So, we became:

Later, a new band became the Pulse, but that name isn't so interesting here, I guess.

It turned out most of our gigs were playing in front of a bunch of drunks, anyway. LOL
