A Federal judge has dismissed the cases against James Comey and Letitia James. The reason is that Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed. I knew this would happen.

In the James Comey indictment which was dismissed today, the judge in his 26 page ruling stated that the DOJ cannot reindict Comey as the statute of limitations has run. Trump's administration is by far the most incompetent in history.

The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) requires service members to obey lawful orders but also mandates the refusal of unlawful orders. According to Article 92, an order is unlawful if it violates the Constitution, U.S. laws, or military regulations, or if it directs a service member to commit a crime or unethical act. Refusing an unlawful order is a duty, and obeying one can expose the service member to criminal liability.​

Comey and James will be back in court, watch and learn.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters following the decision that the Justice Department would be appealing the ruling.

That was a statement in the ruling. I seriously doubt any new indictment won't succeed BECAUSE the statute of limitations has run.

Trump was charged and convicted of 34 felonies. This could be accomplished because he interfered with the 2016 election. Felonies have different statutes of limitations than misdemeanors do.
 
The misdemeanor bookkeeping charge was past the statute of limitations.
This political lawfare sets a dangerous precedent.
Trump recorded a legal NDA payment as a personal expense rather than a political expense, that's not election interference, bringing in millions of illegal immigrants and giving them drivers licenses is election interference, fabricating a fake dossier and launching a fraudulent investigation is as was Comey announcing the Hunter Biden laptop as fake, it wasn't fake, but that announcement at election time had an impact.

You didn't watch a moment of that trial. If was proven by David Pecker's testimony that Trump did indeed interfere with the 2016 election. I watched every minute of that trial. And, not a single court ruled that Trump wasn't guilty. And that includes the SCOTUS. I suppose Trump could try to get Comey charged with interfering with the election. It wouldn't get any farther than the other charges have. Biden's policies were not even criminal, much less election interference. You are grasping at straws.
