Bullshit !

Hell Biden stole top secret documents when he was only a Senator and Yes the Big Guy got his cut.
Biden is a career criminal and a racist, sexist pedophile.... Typical scumbag politician, above the laws they pass for us little wage slaves.
You're thinking of trump, I know his description anywhere!!! "career criminal and a racist, sexist pedophile." That's trump in a nutshell!!

The National Mall in DC has a new anti-Trump sculpture. It is an old TV with a gold eagle on top showing clips of Trump, including one with Jeffrey Epstein.

Ok, going to try again. Top lies we allow ourselves to believe: 1) Our party/our candidate. There are a few idealists that make it into power that may actually represent their electorate. I personally think this decreases as you move up in power. The few exceptions aside, they do not represent the people they supposedly serve. Gerrymandering means some districts literally just go to whomever that party's 'owners' choose. "Two parties" captures most of the rest, again usually chosen by the big, dark money donors. This isn't fucking football. "Rooting for your team" means grabbing your ankles when you do it in politics. 2) The Economy. The system is fucking rigged. I doubt anyone here is on their way to centimillionaire or higher. You'd have MIT physics professors teaching you instead of sharing ideas here. It's 'bad for the economy' means 'the people in economic power will hurt the rest of us if we try it'. Plus, 'the economy' makes a great tool to redirect and control us. Just point to how squeezed everyone feels and then pick a boogeyman. 3) "The government" - only exists as a separate entity for as long as we keep fighting each other. Democracy is messy. Of the people, for the people, by the people is hard. I think that's why so much money goes into reinforcing 1 and 2, so we forget we can just all take the time to sent up people that will serve us. 4) "Woke, Maga Mush, Radical..." Not really up on the language, but holy motherfucker is the messaging good. Republicans definintely have the edge on this one. They have masterfully boiled down so many concepts into a few dismissive labels. Still, we're all fucking people. Get us in a room toghether to talk about lasers (or other common interests) to break the ice and we let our guard down. Get conversations going then about our differing views and they are just not that fucking different. Posting all of this because it doesn't fucking matter who we currently believe was the "most worstest corruptest asshole meanie that justifies my guy's actions". If we all started talking about how to get truly professional and independent journalism and a non-partisal investigative unit, it would scare the shit out of those in power. If we stop trading little insults, or one-ups about 'our guy and your guy' (see above) we might just realize how much we are alike, how much of our difference is because of which lies we've fallen for, and that we can fucking do something about it if we stop fighting. I guess that's more then $0.02. Maybe $1.05? (freedom costs a buck-o-five, if you're in the know).

Trump's budget bill will literally add $5 trillion to the deficit. It is planned that it will get a vote in the Senate today. There are Republicans who aren't in favor of this. Let's hope there are enough to stop it.

@Paul...... You don't care about the deficit, stop pretending. That said I don't see tax breaks for the wealthy being a fair trade for medicare/medicaid cuts, medical costs are out of control and that needs to be addressed before tax cuts, but subsidizing medical profits doesn't seem right either, what we need are cost controls, medical should be a regulated utility with research funding for advancement but not waste.

For what it's worth paul, you have compelled me to see the other side of things a little better every once in a while and I don't want people to suffer, but as you yourself have said before, politics can be messy, what you need to understand better is that all our rights are important and hypocrisy is not conducive to good democracy.

@magician......Our news media is definitely in need of renewal, but as it is the news is told by our government what not to say, you can see it when the foreign news talks about something big that our news somehow skips, or a big news item is mentioned just once and never again, sometimes Aljazeera live tv news english and Reuters will have good content that you can't see on the US mainstream channels.

I would worry more about right-wing media. They consistently lie. The news one gets on the internet is mostly propaganda. I get my news from several sources, including the NY Times and the Washington Post. I also watch MSNBC.

Canada needs a strong Conservative influence to get back on track, that and Canada is dependent of the US, Trump could do Canada a lot of good.

That said, if we made Canada our 51st State, they would get 2 Senate seats, but their House representation would need to be reduced by a factor of 10 for the 1st decade, because Canada has about as many people as California 38Million, so the House impact would need to be limited to start with anyway.

That will never happen. Trump is a narcissistic idiot. And, IF Canada ever became part of the US it would be far more liberal than you would like.

I'm afraid you are correct, that's why voting rights should be delayed for a decade for all our new Canadian American citizens, after all too much change too fast could be dangerous.

Of course, if Canada were to ally with our adversaries before we made Canada our 51st, then it could be in our interest to take preemptive action and seize land.

Trump could be setting Canada up for a land grab, hell they have way more than they need and after all, it's our continent anyway and we could either annex or seize land under the right conditions.

On January 14th 1784 the Continental Congress officially declared the sovereignty of the United States of America by ratifying the Paris Treaty.

However, it wasn't until 1867 that the Province of Canada was joined with two other British colonies of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia through Confederation, forming a self governing entity called Canada which was adopted as the legal name of the new country.

So we have allowed Canada to self-govern on our continent, but nothing says we have to continue to allow that if Canada in any way becomes a threat, such as allying with our adversaries.

 You believe Trump has the ability to invade Canada?! That's hilarious. No one in the US or Canada would put up with that. Trump would like to, though, even as he claims to be against wars.

The Senate is scheduled to vote on passing Trump's massive Butt-load Bountiful Bill, which is unpopular with a vast majority of voters. If/when this gets to Trump, voters should never forget who made this happen.

Naw I was just kidding about Canada, Canadians are our friends and neighbors.

I haven't read about everything that's in the BBB, but cutting healthcare is not the answer, too many families just can't afford healthcare because it's so expensive, cutting Medicaid will put poor families in debt. and many people will go without needed medical, it shouldn't happen in America. Maybe Government should limit medical billing for the uninsured before cutting Medicaid.

Supposedly Medicare is increased in the BBB, it's only cut for illegal invaders who need to go home anyway.

There are few, if any, who are getting Medicaid or Medicare that shouldn't have it. This is a Trump narrative. And, he's a liar.

I'm not saying illegal immigrants shouldn't get emergency services if they have legitimate need, but medicare/medicaed benefits, hell no.
