And for anyone who doesn't know, His name is Kilmar Abrego Garcia, and he had been living in Maryland for over a decade. He had a form of protected status that should have prevented his deportation to El Salvador. In spite of that, ICE officers arrested Abrego Garcia last month and deported him to El Salvador, along with hundreds of other men that the Trump administration also accuses of being gang members. Abrego Garcia denies that. The government says he was deported to El Salvador because of an administrative error, but argued there is nothing it can do now because Abrego Garcia was already out of the U.S. A federal district judge rejected that argument. She ordered that he be brought back to Maryland quickly. But Chief Justice John Roberts put that order on hold while the Supreme Court could consider the case.

The Supreme Court issued a brief, unsigned order. It's interesting to note that there were no dissents, although there was a statement from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, joined by the court's other two liberals, calling this an egregious violation of Abrego Garcia's rights. The court said that the government must now facilitate Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and handle his case as it would have been handled if he had not been improperly sent there. That part is a win for Abrego Garcia. But the justices also had some instructions for the district court judge. They told her to clarify the meaning of the word effectuate when she ordered the Trump administration to effectuate Abrego Garcia's return. The justices said the scope of that term is unclear and that it might exceed the lower court's authority when it comes to foreign policy.

And I would add to this, if the supreme court doesn't know what effectuate means, maybe they should try a dictionary as well! "To effectuate is to produce a result or make something happen"...

This is nothing but democrats attempting to create an emotional issue via. lies and mainstream media misinformation, Garcia is a criminal illegal and he won't be living in America, even if he could be brought back and his withholding order cleared, he would still be deported because he is a criminal illegal.

Boy, oh boy, you don't know the facts of this case at all! How can one person be so grossly misinformed?! Some of what you are saying is twisted around, some of it is just plain wrong, and some of it ISN'T EVEN REAL!

Man, I hope for your sake you never have to step foot inside a courtroom, maybe that's why trump loses in court so much, you both are wrong on so many levels and about so many things, it's kind of funny in a way.....? ;)

We have borders for a reason and liberals telling illegal immigrant fence jumpers to claim " fear of persecution " to push an illegal open borders agenda is the problem.

So Garcia had a 2019 withholding order because he claimed fear of persecution in El Salvador, so how may of these " fear of persecution exceptions can we make " liberals would say no limit, this is what needs to change.

Really I don't care about immigrants , we are all immigrants, I care about our Constitutional rights, but liberals want to cheat the system and let in unlimited people by telling everyone to claim fear of persecution because they FEEL we can be one big happy hippy love fest, it's nonsense, immigration needs to happen at a reasonable pace.

Biden let illegals flood in too dam fast, it's not healthy to take on too may people too fast, but congress is useless.

I'm sick of liberal democrats pushing their brand of morality on everyone while trampling my Constitutional rights for their FEELINGS reasons.

Government has to be reigned in, Trump is not God, but neither was Obama, Fast and Furious, the IRS scandals, this is what we should be talking about, not Garcia...... bring Garcia back and deport him to anywhere but El Salvador or don't IDC, I care about our Constitutional rights and the poisionig of our food, poisoning of Earth...... yet 2 billion in EPA funds were given to Stacey Abrahms so she could buy votes by dolimg out new appliances, the liberal agenda can't be allowed to run rampant either...... truth is we are divided on purpose, so the crooks we elect can pillage at will.

We need to demand reasonable border policy so we aren't wasting our time arguing about this, there are so many more important things.

Look at how many people are dying from cancer, from the nuclear testing, spillage, chemicals in our food, air, water, the process to make teflon..... this doesn't mean we should have a tyrant EPA either, climate change WILL NOT KILL YOU AND ME but cancer is a 50/50 lifetime chance.

This is what we should be working on, pushing for, real research that can make a difference, not climate change funding to be squandered by politicians so they can power broker.

Everyone wants to bend the rules to their favor, so we all have to obey the dam laws, but we don't hold our government accountable the same way and yes I fear Trump going too far and establishing a dangerous prescient, but if democrats had packed the court then no holds would be barred.... I always thought we could do better without religious dogma getting in the way of technology, such as stem cell research, but I keep seeing the decay in our moral fiber, when I was young people used to talk about Constitutional Muster.... they can't do that, it won't pass Constitutional Muster..... today people talk about " it's just a living document " .... we all have to play by the rues for it to work.

Sadly most kids today don't have 2 parents, don't have the church in their lives, we have lost something that I see developing countries have, it gives them strength. It gives them a moral code.

We are running out of politicians with any moral code, we can't be a free people with politicians who run on fucking FEELINGS. They along with their wealthy supporters, red or blue, will rule over us if we lose our Constitution and it's been slipping for a long time.

IDK, when I look at the people at the Jan 6th riot, in Congress, and in the Whitehouse, I see the decay in our moral fiber, BUT when I look at my friends, family, and the people I know and live around me, I see our moral fiber in abundance!! :D(y)

There is no shortage of great people we should be electing to Congress and the Whitehouse, BUT people SUCK and we end up with the last people we should be sending there... :eek:

I might try going back to when I didn't give a shit about politics, I doubt I have a ton of time left on this rock so why worry about something that is out of my control...:unsure:
 
People had been dying of cancer long before nuclear anything or before any of these chemicals were ever made. But, you seem to KNOW that this is the cause. It's possible that for some that could be true, however far from a fact. With Trump so against science, don't expect answers any time soon.
 
Trump isn't against science, he's against waste and DEI racism.... That said so much research is in treating people to death rather than curing them because that's where the money is.

Also I never said people didn't die from cancer before nuclear testing and chemicals in food, air and water, you wrongly assumed that.
I have researched it and these things do increase risk, some substantially.

RFK Jr., and by extension, Trump himself are against science. You can't have it both ways. RFK has been railing against science his entire life. He is an antivaxxer, against fluoridation as well as many other things. And, Trump has defunded NIH, CDC and rescinded many grants for scientific work.

I know what you are talking about, and everyone would be freaked out if they learned the truth! You're talking about "Forever Chemicals" which are man made chemicals that never break down, are accumulative in living creatures, and one of which is in every man, woman, child, most animals, not to mention it is in our food, air, and water everywhere on the planet!!!

Oh yeah, did I mention IT'S VERY TOXIC IN EXTREMELY LOW AMOUNTS, LIKE ONE DROP IN AN OLYMPIC-SIZE SWIMMING POOL!!!

I guarantee that you, me, and everyone has what is considered to be a dangerously high amount of it in us RIGHT NOW, and there is nothing that can be done about it!!!

It's a chemical, Dupont created to make Teflon in large quantities. It has been classified as one of the few "Forever Chemicals" and is strictly man-made...


Isn't the industrialized world great... :eek:
We have Forever Chemicals in all of us, but at least we got no stick frying pans!:rolleyes:
