This is a Trump appointed judge.

Trump fucked up with this one, she also has made anti 2A rulings in violation of our Constitutional right, she is a political activist and a bad judge in my opinion, and I hope she is overruled every time it is appropriate.

The U.S. Supreme Court will reargue Louisiana v. Callais on October 15, an unusual move that signals the justices may revisit the extent to which blue states can use their racist policy to create black voting districts in order to boost minority voting power.

Democrat antics aren't helping, democrats are making dam near every situation worse.

More pain for US farmers as government shutdown halts payments.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. federal government shutdown that began Wednesday will halt some payments to farmers and delay access to federal farm loans, the latest blow for producers already facing low crop prices, record-high debts and a trade war at the height of the fall harvest
The main thing, as you point out, is the trade war farmers are facing.

Anything that upholds gun laws are anti 2A to you.

This has nothing to do with blue states trying to redistrict, unlike what Trump is trying to do in Texas.

No I think it's not a big deal at all, farmers are regularly paid not to grow crops, there's a farm subsidy and Trumps tariffs are worth these small sacrifices, we could get tax rebates and that outweighs your petty grievances many times over.

You won't see any tax rebates. The soybean farmers would disagree that this is petty.

No, UBC's are a pathway to more unconstitutional laws and attempts at worse, also a UBC would be useless without universal registration, and millions will never register.
You will not see the gun control of your liberal wet dreams in your lifetime.

I will tell you something else as well, the Clinton crime bill that banned certain cosmetic features in an effort to restrict so called assault weapons, drove sales through the roof, today there are 10's of millions of AW's in citizens hands and now they are protected via. being in common use.
Clinton caused that. ;)

Today there is a 3d printed gun revolution, there's no telling how many there are or will be.

All gun laws concerning small arms are unconstitutional.

The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed!
The Brady law is still in effect. And, since it is, there could be UBCs

The only problem with the assault weapons ban was it wasn't permanent. Universal background checks would work going forward. You just don't like the idea of them. That is why you claim they would have no affect. If it was illegal to transfer any weapon without a background check and it carried prison time, this would stop all of that.

Actually, the Clinton ban couldn't ban semi-autos, so it had to ban cosmetic features, such as bayonet lugs, flash hiders and pistol grips, so during the Clinton ban we bought these same guns only with thumbhole stocks, instead of these with pistol grip stocks, they shot exactly the same and we bought a lot of them, MILLIONS!

Also where the Chinese AK was banned by name, we got the Chinese MAK-90 same gun with a thumbhole stock, eat shit hippies.

UBC's won't stop black market sales, just like drug laws don't stop drugs.
Furthermore, without universal registration, UBC's would be that much harder to even try to enforce.
Registration is used later for confiscation, so you would never get even 25% compliance, some States have proven this out.

If UBCs carried a felony charge with prison time this would work. Few people would transfer weapons without a background check with prison time involved.

Nonsense, just like illegal drugs, the higher the risks, the higher the prices, plus the printed guns don't have serial numbers, very hard to trace in mass.
Also without universal registration a seller can claim any sale was made prior to the supposed UBC law, there isn't enough manpower to deal with even a fraction of the private word of mouth sales.

Trump open to invoking the Insurrection Act.

President Donald Trump on Monday said he would consider using the Insurrection Act to deploy the military if federal courts prevented him from deploying the National Guard to protect federal buildings and conduct law enforcement operations.

The comments came a day after a federal judge blocked the president from sending National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, which Trump claims has been taken over by left-wing “domestic terrorists.”

Trump told reporters in the Oval Office he did not yet see the need to use the Insurrection Act, but “if I had to enact it, I'd do it, if people were being killed and courts were holding us up, or governors or mayors were holding us up.”
