Would putting the battery in my laser the wrong way damage it.
As its stopped working.

well then yes, unless the laser has reverse polarity protection, which it seems it doesnt.

The pulsar from WL has no driver and thus no polarity protection, right? Because I have put the batteries in the wrong direction many times, and nothing has happened to it! Or does the polarity protection have nothing to do with drivers?

the polarity protection is to do with the driver, but thats weird, cause the pulsar certainly doesnt have a driver, unless its just a diode, resistor then LD :-?

It was a 130 mw granade style from www.scitec.uk.com its 8 months old

I put the batteries in my Dilda the wrong way. Then after a loud "F$%^" I swapped them and it was good.

ive done the same with my romisen aswell, it still works fine

I nearly put the battery in my Igor the wrong way and as I was about to screw on the head "Ah, shit, wrong way" I fixed it and it was fine.
