I updated the thread. You had one other bid via PM, but has since been overshot by another member. I f you wish to go higher on this, just let me know. Im thinking that you will wait till the last minute on that one though ::)

that brings up a good point. How are you going to deal with sniper bids on friday? Which time zone are we going by?

Well im on eastern standard time, so its easiest for me to go by this. As for slipping in the last minute bids... How does this sound...

Any members who havent bid on an item by 11pm and slips in a bid at the last minute will not be counted. We all know each other around here and trust that nobody will be sneaky about things. If people enter their absolute max bid, it should be pretty straight forward.

This obviously wont be like ebay and winning by a 50 cent margin. If all who participate are mature about it, I think we will be fine.

Then theres the possibility of people not paying, if payment is not sent within 24hrs, the item will go to the second highest bidder with no exceptions.

If you can think of any other ideas, please post them.  If we work on some sort of honor system, id expect this to be the best solution.

Does this make sense? :-/

If you want the laser we spoke of in last nights PM's, the price will be higher than the current bid on it. I cant just give these away...

If they sell cheap in this thread, no problem, im commited to that. If you get it cheaper this way its all good. But If you want another, it will be a custom build and obviously a higher price..

If you want to work something out, PM me and I will see what I can do.

Well there wont be much need for repair ;) But if there is, you are covered with free repairs for 1 year. They open quite easily, simply unscrew the cap, the guts are mounted into the heatsink.

As for modification, if any tampering is done and the laser breaks, the warranty will be void. This doesnt mean I wont fix it, it just means you will pay for it ;)[/quote]


I understand, its just good to know that I can mount whatever I want in there easily. :)

I can see that laser is going to be a hard bargain to get.

Wannaburn, any chance you have some of these hosts lying around with the heatsink installed but with no laser inside that you could sell me? I like the way the host looks with the heatsink.

LOL.... DTMF, you have the first 4x I made in the rominsen ;D I see the addiction continues! So its a matching pair that you seek ::)

Bids noted, im making the changes now.

@ Leukoplast, My lathe is packed up already but ill see what I can do. Im moving in a month, so all the heavy tools are pretty much packed, so there might be a wait on it.

$100 CAD for 100mW 532nm handheld in a rominsen body with a beefy aluminum heatsink.

not trying to be higher bidder, just dropping it in in case the highest bidder drops out ::)
