PLE Pro Custom Leather Holster V1

I decided to make a holster for the PLE Pro. This was just my Proof of Concept (POC) It's 100% genuine leather and 100% hand made. The black is cow hide and the blue is VERY soft sheep skin.

How stiff is that back piece? I would be worried about the head of the laser slipping out of the base and falling out. Looks sweet though!

It's fairly stiff. This being V1 there are certainly improvements that I would like to make. I would have no worries about carrying this in the holster as is but if you were to run or jump it could come out but you'd have to almost be trying.

The top band is the pivot point so as the tail cap presses against it the head of the laser tucks into the back of the holster.

Maybe make it so you could slip something like a ruler down the length of it.

I think for the next iteration of this holster I would drop the lowest band so half of the band would be attached to the angled sides and the other half would be on the back. also I would make the back strap twice as wide to make it curve around the laser host more. (Think of the way a tape measure is curved) Also kicking around other ideas for the top most band. Anybody have a host that needs a holster?

I can picture the tape measure ides and it sounds like it would give the rigidity you need. Without adding another component.
