I built a 2w laser a few years ago and now that things are a bit cheaper I am planning on building a 6w+.
If I get this module (https://www.ebay.com/itm/6W-NUBM44-450nm-20mm-Copper-Laser-Module-W-Driver-G-2-Lens-/182389461738) with driver, Diode and lens and use the host (https://www.survivallaser.com/DIY_S...nded_Heat_Sink,_Unmarked/p556088_6363629.aspx) and slide it in the 20mm module after I remove the 12mm copper that comes in the host.
And a contact board.
Will it be that easy? (after soldering the connections).
I ask because my last build I had to get a driver separate, a diode and lens and put it all together. Just want to check to see if Im missing anything.
Would This host be a better alternative for heat dissipation: https://www.survivallaser.com/S4X__Host_Assembly/p556088_14521638.aspx with the 20mm module adaptor https://www.survivallaser.com/20mm_Diode_Module_Adapter/p556088_17159452.aspx
Thanks
