Perfect Heat sink for diy reds!

At only 30 dollors it is a very good price for a heatsink that is made for a diode, hopfully you can takke it out and put a new one in, You could maybe mod the board too to power one or just cut of the board ;D

it probably was kinda random sry bout that..., It would be a perfect heatsink because no machining would be required its already premade to hold that module with a diode in it so you wouldnt need any tools or anything to change it up.

when it says 100 mW, does it mean thats what it can safely provide heatsinking for?

Or is that what the diode placed in the module will be outputting?

And can you replace the diodes?

and does that come with a diode already in it?

Im not for sure if you can replace it, i hope you can
Im pretty sure it does because it says 100mw laser module

how powerful of a laser do you think you could put in it?
and what would be the duty cycle on it?

Well about the most powerful one would be one from a 20x dvd player they can reach 300mw if you put 600ma into it, The duty cycle would probably be pretty long, i would think like 10min prob more.

cool. I might get one of those eventually then. that would be the most powerful laser I could build with my limited funding. Not that that would be a weak laser...
