Hey all; So, I'm getting really really good at making PCB layouts on Eagle...
And I was curious, would any of you fellow electronics nerds need any PCB's laid out or made?
I'm not 100% sure on how to ... "charge" for the boards, to be honest.
I was thinking hourly, (and yes, I will charge honestly... I'm not going to screw you over.) like $8-10 per hour or something? This may be negotiable.
Typical turn over time depends on the complexity of the board. If it takes longer than 2 1/2 weeks (which it shouldn't!), I'll cut the price per hour in half.
If I take breaks (which I will...), I will take that into account obviously.
I was thinking this would be useful for say, laser diode drivers, plasma speakers, ZVS drivers, whatever. Just give me a schematic, and I will design it. I will also keep all information confidential.
I will go over the design several times once I have finished laying it out, to make sure all connections are proper. If the circuit does NOT work (after you send me a board to test myself!) then I will refund 100% of your money accordingly, and will attempt to fix any errors on the boards. If the error is caused by a bad PCB manufacturer error, then I will not refund any money.
I recommend OSH park for making PCB boards.
I can do double sided boards only. I will require a small up front fee (say, $8), that way if you decide to back out then I'm not screwed for the amount of time I spent making a board.
How does this sound? Let me know your honest opinions!
