You guys I got an email saying I paid 250 bucks for an ipod I DID NOT ORDER, I don't know what to do since I've only used paypal once, I did check my account history and it doesn't show that transaction, I don't know what to do, please help. :-/
 





for the fastest resolutions with them, a phonecall is the best bet :)
 
But it's weird though because the email is titled dispute, and I think someone is trying to get my pasword. It shows a link I should follow for a dispute and my web browser says isn't "safe" is this some kind of scam??? Also the email says I paid for it in the 28th, like I said I checked my account but it doesn't show any transaction for the 28th. :-?
 
That is aweird one :-? Id call and see what they have to say. Last month I had some idiot trying second chance offers to people who bid on my stuff but didnt win. Then hed send an offer to the losing bidders requesting western union payment. Meanwhile I built the item, there was only one like it, but he still has an account on ebay, even after they investigated it. You have to watch out and ,keep looking over your shoulder when dealing with ebay and paypal (same entity).
 
It's probably some kind of email scam. Don't use the link in your email whatever you do. Call paypal and ask them if you are uncertain.
 
Yup, I don't think I was really thinking straight when I got the email, I looked at it closer and it doesn't even show my name, it just says paypal member, when I follow the link (using msn) it says it isn't safe, and it gets me to the place to enter your password and email, but if you look at the top of the window a whole bunch of numbers come up before the address, so I think it's just some kind of scam, plus that transaction doesn't show up in my account. I think I'm feeling better now.
 
Paypal transactions show up the next day right?? (when using a credit card) Because my history shows up the info until yesterday, which is the day I supposedly ordered the ipod but that doesn't show up.
 
Transactions should be availible upon refreshing the page.
 
(sigh) What a relief, I felt really nervous just a moment ago. :o (I'll call them, but I don't think I'll have to if that transaction never shows up in my account)

I just did the fraud check on opera and indeed it shows up in the black list. :o
