paint experts,i need your help

Some of the paint was coming off the cap so i decided to sand off the rest of it.

i applied testors enamel model paint i let it dry for 2 days but for some reason the paint was tacky.

the host is made of aircraft aluminum,any advice on the right kind of paint to use would be much appreciated.

What the hell am I even looking at in that blurry photo? That could be any host. It may even be anodized for all I know. Try spraypainting it with an even coat and cover up the original paint.

My opinion. Krylon White Gloss interior spray paint.
Use 3 thin coats is my guess.
