Open source battery forum?

I'm not talking about creating a battery.

You're not? Because this statement gave a different impression:

...ways to possibly make more of a DIY battery that's better than current Li-Ion solutions.

Does the phrase "moving the goalpost" mean anything to you?

Sounds like you see a value in this project that most of us don't. That's fine. I wouldn't be the least bit upset if you created such a forum despite this. But the topic has shifted from "does this have value?" to "I know this has value". Who are you trying to convince? Us? Or yourself?

" ways to make one." Not manufacturing a battery for mass market. There are plenty of battery tech that has been discovered which hasn't made its way into the general public, but is easily capable of being made with very little equipment. But my goal is to focus more on finding better and better tech and discussing these in an open forum.

As far as me doing it, it's clear no one is really that interested or don't understand my intent, so no, I won't. That's why I came here to discuss it first.

Well what do you know. They arrived today. Apparently the company spent many months working a patent infringement issue in addition to many manufacturing delays. Changed the name to Batteroo (from Batteriser). Now to see how well they work.
