"odd" 473nm DPSS reflection

I'm getting a weird reflection off a white wall for my 473 handheld, I'd say it looks like raindrops. (I may have a better picture at night if needed)

I'm comparing it (second pic) to my 473nm labby (first pic), and also showing what/where I'm shining it on.(last pic)
Both were shining on pretty much the same spot between the pictures, and the handheld wasn't moved.
Can anyone explain why it's very "spotty" looking?

(I set the pictures up in this order rather than setting it up in a different order... in this way: What I think it's supposed to look like, what it looks like, then for reference what I'm shining it on)

Well I understand they have speckles, the first picture shows them as well. They're just more grouped together in the portable than in any laser I've ever seen

I like this one Eye testing using speckle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I found this out back in 1988 when I built my first hene laser. It is a fun to try on different people. But I still need a closer picture of the dot to see this Rain Drop effect you talking about. It could just be a dirty lens.

It's not the dot the shows the raindrop-type effect, it's the scenery that's lit up by the laser.
spots are a bit more distinct, a lot less light is actually visible between the spots

Can you see it at long distance to or is it only up close.?

To me it looks like a magnified reflection of the dot.

My 660nm laser does this when i use a specific lens and view the dot area at ~25 feet.

Iam thinking its the lens.

It's just an interference pattern. You might not have noticed it in higher powered or more stable (physically - like a labby) laser.
