Do they test out as stated (1w)? Do they last? Do they get hot, or need to be run only a few seconds at a time, etc.?

well this product was added just couple of days ago.. it is hard to know the answers to your questions.. but if it is stated as 900mw it will most likely be up to specs..

it seems pretty slim so probably it doesnt have musch heatsinking ability to run it for a prolonged time..
try to ask them on duty cycle.. they will probabbly reply wery soon..

also i can see it is 24mm in diameter.. so maybe some people around the forum who have custom build in simmilar host (diameter- like aurora stainless steel) would tell their duty cycles.. it would give you some rough estimation

give it a try today the light is awesome and it is very clean...

at first the contact a little loose so I take off the focusing lens and tighten the laser housing with a pin... and thats it... no problem at all

the light is very bright and it is very easy to focus...

it is a great buy and the build quality is simple and solid!!!
