Hiya folks,
Just thought I'd help spread the word around here:
O-like put up their new addition to stock, housings for 9mm diodes:
9mm diode housing with glass lens for red laser or 808nm laser [OL9MM] - $8.99 : O-Like, Quality Products, Great Prices
I actually have them for over a month now I think, I asked Susie before (Didn't actually expect to answer affirmatively) do they have one of those, she said yes!
I used them for 1W IR 808nm laser diodes, the modules are of HIGHEST quality possible, diode is being pressfited (back end serves as presfitting tool),
Entire thing is not thin like Aixiz (their back ends bend in after two presfitts), I can see now on my housing that the entire back end is full 2 milimeters thick, and everything is quite a mass to help dissipate the heat from powerfull diodes.
I warmly reccomend!
Also, the thread for the lens is so long that you can screw in TWO glass lenses (each in it's brass holder), with the last one being almost flush.
That makes room for all the cylindrical lens optics and whatever you need!
Top quality, warmly reccomended by me!
EDIT: Oh also forgot, you can speak with Susie, you can get only the housing (without lens) for $4 + $2 shipping.
Or add $1 for plastic lens if you do not want glass one.
