What is difference between flat window or with collimator?

I want lowest divergence possible.

I want lowest divergence possible.

If by collimator you mean the factory G-ball lens, then the flat window version can be mounted into a module as-is while the G-ball needs to be decanned so that it can be focused (AFAIK the NUG- series diodes don't die when decanned)
