Does the Ca**o xj*v2 comes with one or two NUBM44 blocks? They are 8 or 10 diode blocks? I got a good offer in this projector, and i would like to know how many diodes i can extract.

V1 has 7 diodes, one is missing from an 8 hole block
V2 has 8 diodes and they are slightly stronger
110W has the 10 diode block

There are others that I don't know what they use.
V2 is typically your best deal that I am aware of however Techhood in China and Barnette Unlimited in US ( EBay ) have virgin pin new blocks and might cut you a deal. I think my best offer from Techhood was 425.00 but it's free to ask, PM user Smack-it-up. > https://laserpointerforums.com/threads/virgin-nubm44-laser-diodes-for-sale.106985/

Ok, thanks for the information.

Unrelated to the thread, I always wanted to know where the green 520nm diode blocks come from. They come from projectors or what?

Most new 7475's and 700's come to you with clean pins and clean backs, that indicates they were not harvested from a projector however some high end projectors may use them, don't know which units they are or which iteration is used but the nugm Gballs are no doubt intended for projectors but the nugm03 which is the strongest and most popular is actually a 525nm and at 50-65 dollars a diode why wreck a high end projector ?
