Actualy i had no clue what a lathe was until i lookd up about it lol.
"machine tool which spins a block of material to perform various operations such as cutting, sanding, knurling"

I will (with LOTS of practice !) be able to make my own spacers, and maybe some custom pieces to play with :)

Ok, now that you have that, what are you making me? :P

The greatest 'super tool' a man can have! You'll never regret buying your lathe...as long as the wife allows it.
Congrats!
Jay

Jay - she not only allowed it, but had to load it into the car ! Kinda hard to lift 89 pounds when I am not supposed to lift over 20 ! LOL NOT that I listen all the time, but you know :P Now before I even plug the thing in, I gotta get me some geeky goggles - I still have PLENTY of MRI's left that have to be done - don;t need metal fragments messing those up !
