I'm amazed at this little gem. Being used to "beamless" red lasers it rather stuns me how visible the beam is in a LIT ROOM! The difraction grating is loads of fun too. Though unless I'm aiming at a dark surface or one that is at least 10-20ft away I cant look at the dot! (again comming from being able to burn w/o goggles using a red bc of hte low visibility) It's absolutely stuning!!! I'm also amusing how I can combine the green dot and hte red dot on my Atek to make a yellow dot... just does not make sence in my head and ammuses me greatly. lol.
However, two odd things. One I was suprised how quickly my laser got warm, probably <5min and it was warm to the tough. (this is from being used to reds that have almost-no duity cucle)
Second, it DOES NOT fit properly in the WL Dragon case! Its about 1/2cm too long. you CAN force it in (if yours still is epoxied you wont have a problem keeping it in, but mine the end with the open/close threaded cap completely popped off, so the nova forces the case open in my pocket because it can BARELY touch the top of the case (if anyone wants pictures I will take some)
On a hilarious note, though, the warning sticker on the laser is an absolute joke. It warns that he laser is <500mw. Class IIIb. and is of a wavlength between 108 and 660 (IIRC... basically it's not IR/UV) I've nearly ruined it using the lens attachments, though, so it'll soon have to come off anyway.
However, amazingly for it's power, it lit a match unaided @ 2-3"! This beam puts my atek to shame! it's probably 1/2 or even 1/3 or 1/4 the diameter of the Atek! (though the atek can beat it on divergence)
