get this, just for LOL

I see a high end $ WL on Craigslist.
I get the serial # from the guy, and I call WL to get and confirm the specs.
I give them the ser. #, and like any good company that keeps records they told me...

They say "we don't use the serial # to cross reference a WL for specs etc"

So it seems they don't even keep a track of their Serial Numbers
or the Specs of their Overpriced and Underspec Lasers...:wtf:

Typical WL marketing bullshit.

I wonder whether the "serial numbers" are random or might actually be the same for all units.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion in the other thread that any documentation from WL means less than nothing.
 
Hmm, that's a shame.

It was an informative thread about the kind of people (uhm lying kids) WL likes to use to promote their crap.

No, unfortunately.

I can probably dig up the text in emails, but wouldn't be quite the same.

I remember. Someone was sending pizza to his house, and threatened to send SWAT. He got DOXd. He was scared. Avery must of taken it down because of that.
