"Noise Halo" on a new 50mW violet laser






I bought a 120 mW 405 from Warn almost a year ago and it has a bright halo almost 12 inches in diameter around the dot at 12 feet.It hurts to look at the dot. I also have a 120 mW 405 from another online seller at 1/3 of the price. It has less than half of the halo and it is violet in color.This one is my first choice when it's dark out. Both light matches and pop balloons and seem to be about the same power.
