members will have what you're looking for.
You can check the sale and trade section of
the forums. There are lots of good lasers
there very near cost of materials. You can
go used or new from SciFiLasers, Blord,
ricktrent, and a few others. Ricktrent is
also 423ricktrent4 on eggBay. You can also
assemble your own if you have access to a
soldering iron and ESD wrist strap. DTR
sells diodes pressed into modules and ones
with drivers already attached. All you
need to do is provide a host with a
heatsink and do some heatsinking on the
driver. Search before asking a question
since it has probably been asked already.
Don't forget to pick up a good pair of
laser safety glasses if your laser does not
come with one. You will need them for
close up focused burning.
