These diodes didn't shift that much with current alone in wavelength. Maybe 1nm. Temperature is a different story. If they get hot enough, they will shift up by as much as 5nm. But, that is very hot to the touch.

The wavelength shift for these diodes is 1nm every 20K, so a 5nm shift would need a 100K increase in temperature. Really hot indeed

Yeah, that was the point of my "as much as" qualifier. Maybe only 3nm shift as I am going off my imperfect memory. The diode was too hot to handle, but I didn't measure the temperature.
