New noob DIY

Ok i know i failed on my last project but i've put it aside and i am starting a new!

So i'm going to need some help. I'm going to buy a 150mW 650nm laser diode, and a 80-500mA driver with 2 14500 3.7V 1200mAh AA battery. I also obtained myself a pair of goggles and im buying 2 tubes of heatsink compound. Added i will also be obtaining a glass lens for my aixiz module.

Is there anything else of concern that i should be buying to get started? I appreciate your guys help.:bowdown:

looks to me like you got everything in order. Maybe a spare driver and spare diode in case of another mishap . I missed your last thread but I wish you luck on your new build! I assume you have a host?

It didn't go so well i kinda bought an 808nm diode on accident but both the driver & diodes come in 2 so thats good. Thank you. And yes i do.
