Alright so, I broke down a bought 3 LOC LPC815s from Greg over at Stonetec.

I have to admit this guy is awesome to deal with, not only did he understand my current living arrangements he was just a good guy to talk to! Thanks. I will be using your store in the future :)

So, I spent part of my Saturday playing with my Axiz modules. Here it is, my temp labby.
The axiz module will be placed into a heatsink bored for 12mm and secured with silver epoxy to conduct heat away from the module.

Here are some pics of the temp build.

Here I am using a 12V 12.5A PSU that is nearly 100% ripple free. These guys aren't exactly cheap either.
DC-DC convertor is a HF digital module. Right now it's running 3.3v at ~250mA.

Just sharing my weekend with you laserholics.

I have some new pictures of this red module running 410mA!
What a burner it is !

I am going to post the pictures as soon as I install it into my new heat sinks!

Edit, no new heatsinks just yet.

Very nice!!
Put a good fan on that new heat-sink and crank it up to 520mA. Worse case, diode blows, you are out $10

Going to stick the module into one of Flamingpyro's beautiful Max sinks once I get them.
