I have recently come into possession of a pretty nice laser show. Its not that old and it works great. BUT, it has stepper motors, and it looks like poop. If i were to switch out the stepper for, say, 20k galvos or something, would it move a lot smoother and not compromise the presets? or would it totally mess everything up. Keep in mind this laser was not VERY expensive (yes i have a variance and all that jazz) and it is not software controlled so i dont think i have any control over that. but is this a reasonable modification? Sorry if this is the wrong forum, first post.

(I came into laser shows thinking I could buy a cheap RGY from ebay with steppers, and now I have spent over $2000 on laser shows
