I am newly registered here on the forums, but I have been reading various threads over the last couple weeks. I recently built a pointer style with an LPC815 in an old laser pointer module I happened to have laying about with some veroboard and other components I had. My only issue is that I cannot focus the dot quite as precise as I would like because of the limitations of the lens module from the old pointer. I have since ordered a couple Aixiz 12x30 housings, but they are not here yet. The question I have is if anyone has some LPC815 or LPC822,LPC826 diodes for dirt cheap....I have run out of burners to harvest diodes from, and the cheapest burners I have found that would work are more than I would like to spend. I also would really like to build a 405nm or 445nm unit, but I simply cannot afford the components right now.
